“There’s a precedent for this, and I think there needs to be a dispassionate discussion about this, and do the right thing.”

It’s true that many college mascots have acknowledged the insensitive nature of their mascots and made a change.

Formerly Red Raiders, Colgate University athletes are now simply “Raiders.”

But with fans of the squad arguing over the recent , do they really need another topic to debate? What do you think?

Should the name “Redskins” be changed?
