Britney Spears David Lucado Split 250x188 Britney Spears and David Lucado “Break Up” Claim Is NOT True [Daily Gawk]

Britney Spears and David Lucado Break Up,” reads the headline of an X17Online report that was picked up by RadarOnline and other cut-and-paste sites.

The webloid then writes that after Spears and her “legal assistant boyfriend David Lucado” split, she was spotted “flying solo” as she recently went grocery shopping in Calabasas, California.

The site then editorializes, “Maybe next time she puts her toes in the dating pool, she could step up her game to date someone of her caliber — maybe a full-fledged lawyer or some sort of truck driver.”

After its cheap shot, X17Online quotes a bogus “source” as saying, ”Britney and David split a while ago. Britney’s been focusing on her boys after the break up.”

According to the webloid, she’s actually “seeking solace in her boys.”

OK, Daily Gawk will now explain how these lame sites make up stories.

(1) X17Online got a photo of Spears shopping by herself, and so it decided to claim she and Lucado “split” — all because her boyfriend was not in the picture.

(2) The webloid then employed a made-up quote from a phony source to back up its premise that Spears and Lucado “broke up.” But there’s really no proof.

(3) So, the blog then brought up her kids, and said she’s now been “focusing on her boys.” Lacking any sources or facts, X17Online only had an Instagram photo Spears took the day before of herself with Sean and Jayden, so it used that — and that alone — to add the untrue claim that she’s “seeking solace in her boys.”

But the TRUTH is Spears and Lucado are still dating.

Daily Gawk checked in with one of the many mutual pals of ours and Spears, and we’re told Lucado’s “away,” and that the X17Online tale is “just a sad attempt to create a story.”

Oops, X17Online did it again.
